REVIVAL! Without question, the recent death of Charlie Kirk has caused a spiritual wakening around the world. His focus for spreading the Gospel was on college campuses, but his message drew in people of all ages. The magnitude of his reach is reflected in the number of countries that have had prayer vigils for him. No one knows the magnitude of this awakening. Prayer Warriors here on this site began praying for revival on 4/30/2023, over two years ago. Like Charlie, the initial prayer request was for college students. The prayer request grew to include families, communities, cities, the entire country, and then the world. There have been many revivals since this prayer request was posted, but not of this magnitude. Your prayers for revival, along with others who have been praying for it, have flooded the throne room of God, and He has faithfully answered. We'll continue to pray for revival and wait expectantly as God continues to move. This is such an exciting time for Christians everywhere! Thank YOU for your faithfulness to pray! 

We've been praying for revival on The Prayer Bank for over two years. Thanks to the faithfulness of you prayer warriors, that prayer request has been unbroken with prayers offered every single day during that time. Many have experienced a personal revival, a revival in their family, school, church, or community. Recently there has been a remarkable revival (miracle) in the music industry with an unknown Christian band hitting the top of the charts out of nowhere. I thought you'd enjoy the story.

A revival of college students has been making its way across the United States since last year led by a group called Unite Us. Starting at Auburn where 5000 students gathered and many were baptized, similar events have occurred at Florida State University, the University of Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina. In Arkansas, 10,000 participated, with over 2000 salvations and over 800 baptisms. Mississippi State and Ole Miss each had over 6,000 students attend a praise and worship service with hundreds of salvations and baptisms. At Texas A&M’s Unite Us revival, many attended and were baptized. This was the second revival for Texas A&M. The first wasn’t associated with Unite Us. Ohio State and other universities have had spontaneous revivals, too. God is clearly at work in many ways. Commitments to Christ have carried with them healing from addiction, depression, and thoughts of suicide. All involved agree that this is only the beginning. A multitude of students are seeking the Lord, and the number is growing. Prayer warriors on this site have been praying for revival among college students for over a year and a half. God is clearly moving. Thank you for faithfully praying.

What a God powered shift there has been this year at R-dale high school. Now that the school year is over, let's continue to pray for our youth. May the Lord strengthen them for the next school year. Let's also continue to pray for Zy’Anna, the new believer who began the prayer ministry and Bible Club at R-dale high school. This is only one school. Prayer warriors on this site have been praying for student leaders to make a difference in our schools. R-dale high school has given us just a small glimpse of what God has done this year in many schools around the world. It's an exciting time to be praying. May God raise up more student leaders this summer before the next school year begins.

In an event that shattered all previous records in the U.S., thousands of people were baptized in California! God is also moving strongly in other parts of the country. The beaches in Florida, Texas, and various rivers have become the sites for similar mass baptisms. This is a world-wide phenomenon with similar reports in Germany and the Netherlands. May this be the summer of Jesus as people, especially our youth, turn to the Lord. Thank YOU, JESUS! And thank you, prayer warriors, for faithfully praying for revival every single day for over a year (since May 6, 2023). Let's continue to pray together. Zy'Anna said the group that met with her at her school’s prayer was made up volleyball students, cheerleaders, dance students, and LGBTQ students. She thinks the LGBT group is hurting and so they made a choice to be LGBTQ because they want to be loved and that is how they are making their statement. This is the group she wants to reach next school year. She wants to help them breakaway from that label before they make permanent decisions that will change their life in bad way. For all the parents who have prayed for good Christian friends for their children, God is doing exactly that. Thank YOU, Jesus!

The Bible study at R-dale high school met in the cafeteria during lunch and used iphone technology to connect all their phones and ipads so they could share sermons, devotionals, and prayers in that noisy environment. One of the final study topics was having a friend and being a friend. The text came from Mark 2:3-11 where four friends made a hole in a roof to lower their friend on a mat right down in front of Jesus so the friend could be healed. The students explained the importance of finding friends who will bring you to the feet of Jesus and not tear you down by leading you to do bad things. They made posters about friendship and put them up around school to encourage others to come pray with them, and also to encourage good friendships. The principal of the school took notice and was impressed! He felt that their message was helping kids steer away from drinking, drugs and sex that typical friendships at school encourage.

 God. Is. Able. He is able to do more than what we could ever have hoped for. Here's a summary of what happened at R-dale High School:

1. Zy'Anna and her friends changed their prayer meeting to the lunch hour in their lunch room. That's inside a building in the middle of the school and in the middle of the school day!

2. The number of students praying doubled to over 60!

3. Technology was used to communicate in the noisy lunchroom. A designated student leader would lift up her phone. All the other students tapped it with their phones. Then all the phones and iPads received information from the leader's phone. That included a Bible study with a devotional and prayer. All of those who had earphones or other listening devices actually heard all that was being downloaded and said. At the end of the prayer, all the students said "amen" together... right there in the middle of a public school!

In God's mercy, He gave us a window into one small high school with a faithful group of students praying. I have confidence that the same story is being lived out in schools everywhere. Every morning, Zionna and her friends, Savannah and Ashton, have been leading students in prayer in the parking lot before school starts. Recently, Zionna reported that she had started inviting other students to go to church with her. it gets even better. She texted me that she started a Bible Study club at her school. They just had their first meeting. Ten students! Turns out she’s navigating some very deep water. One of the students is Hindu and one is Muslim. I told her that missionaries travel around the world to reach others for Christ, but God is bringing them to her door. Please continue to pray for her and her friends as they seek to spread the Gospel at R-dale High School. She is so grateful to all of you for covering her in prayer. As we faithfully pray for students scattered across the globe who are are proclaiming the name of Jesus, let's especially pray for Zionna and her Bible Study Club. It meets again on April 3rd!

Thank you for praying for Zionna and her friends Savannah and Ashton. They have been praying for their school, R-dale High, for weeks. Their numbers have grown as they gather together in the parking lot at 7:30 AM each morning before school. R-dale is a public high school, and their classmates have been very supportive. Zionna said, "...so many people join us in the mornings and there are so many new faces... my teachers have asked me about it..." The three friends have been very encouraged knowing about all of you who have been praying. Zionna asked me to tell you, "THANK YOU FOR SENDING PRAYERS TO OUR SCHOOL!" It means a lot to them knowing that people they have never met are lifting them up in prayer. Thank you for your faithfulness. And if you haven't prayed for revival yet, please join us. 

Prayer warriors on this site have been faithfully praying for revival every day since May of 2023. Zionna, Savannah and Ashton are three teenagers who have been praying for their school, and we’ve been covering them in prayer. Zionna texted this update: 

Our school started with the 3 of us (Zionna, Savannah, & Ashton) then the next day it turned into 8-9 after some cheerleader were asking us what we were doing. After we told them, they asked it they could join and we agreed and said yes. Then some of them invited their boyfriends and friends and their cousins. And even some of the ones on staff started to join us!

And we do a circle thing. Each of us say one good thing that can make our day better or one good thing that we want to improve on. After our prayers, we all talk about our goals, and how we all appreciate life so much even though it’s not perfect. We also talk about being grateful. Not everyone has everything we have, and some may have more than others.

God is multiplying the students at R-dale. He’s pulled in the staff as well. Prayer Warriors from around the world—all the way to Australia—have prayed for this small school far away and the three girls there who have been praying. Thank you, Lord, for answering our prayers.

Zionna is a teenager who has started to pray for her school. In four short months, she began attending church, shared the gospel with a family group at her mobile home park, got baptized, and started praying for her school with two of her friends. Because of her schedule, two weeks went by before we could touch base. Then she texted me that she had gotten a childcare job at church and told me all about it. Her life had gotten very busy. I asked if she was still praying at school with her friend Savannah.

Zionna texted: “Yup every morning!”

Me: “You made me cry. I’m double proud of you. Is it the two of you  or does anyone else join in?”

Zionna: “Ashton joins us.”

Then she added, “And a lot of the cheerleaders and some volleyball girls…”

Me: “Are you serious? How many of you are there?”

Zionna: “9 or 10 … But on Wednesdays it’s a lot more but most days 9 or 10.”

By then I was a bucket of tears. I thought of all the prayers that have been prayed here for God to raise up students to pray for their schools. In His great mercy, God showed me just one of those students so that I could tell you about her—so that you could be encouraged, too. I know without a doubt there is a great wave of students that God is preparing. There is a great miracle in the making. Thank you for praying for it.

We’ve been praying for revival on this site and have specifically asked God to raise up students to pray for their schools. After taking Zionna to church for a few months, I mentioned revival to her because I hoped she would be interested in praying for revival at her school. She didn’t know what I meant by “revival”, so I told her it would start by praying for the students at her school. She said, “Oh, I’ve already been doing that!” I was stunned. She went on to say, “I had to!” She explained that several students had been gossiping about her. Her solution was to pray for them and for her school. I asked what they were gossiping about. She told me that some said she was into vaping. Others said that she had lost her virginity. She estimated that only about 2% of girls in her grade (9th grade) were still virgins. Instead of being upset at the ones gossiping, she simply laughed and said, “I would never vape, and my virginity ain’t going anywhere!” That girl has spunk! And God had already called her to pray for her school. Thank you, Lord for Zionna—for her courage and her faith. AND thank you for answering ALL of our prayers to raise up students to pray for their schools. There’s more of Zionna’s story to come.

Zionna is a new Christian that is making an impact at her school. One day I showed her The Bible Memory App right before I dropped her off after church. Many of you already use it. (The free version is great! That’s all you need.) The next time I saw her, I started to show her some verses to memorize. I was surprised to discover that she was already memorizing Scripture—Proverbs 31… the classic Proverbs 31 woman. It isn’t already loaded on the app, so I asked Zionna how she found that verse. She said that it was because of Barbie. “Is she a new friend?” I asked. Zionna laughed and said, “NO, the movie about the Barbie doll!” I don’t know much about the Barbie movie, but I was fairly certain that it didn’t recommend any Bible verses. Now catch this—it’s so cool! Zionna said that the movie talked about what being a woman meant. Zionna wasn’t satisfied with Barbie’s description, so she googled what the Bible said about women. That Google search led her straight to Proverbs 31. She didn’t want Barbie’s definition, but God’s. Thank you Lord for using everything…even the Barbie movie...to lead Zionna to truth. Please keep her in your prayers as she makes a stand for Jesus in her school.

We’ve been praying for Zionna, a teenager at R-dale high school. On her 16th birthday, my husband and I took her to lunch to celebrate, and also visited Barns and Noble Bookstore at her request. She gave us a long tour of the store going up and down every aisle. The employees there knew her well because she’s a regular customer. She lingered the longest in the section of Christian books. This girl has a hunger for God. She told us about a couple of friends she had made. Sometimes when they get together, they read the Bible to each other and underline parts they like. She admires one of her friends a lot, who grew up in church and knows the Bible. “It’s like all of that was just given to her,” she commented with a deep longing. Zionna’s mother is in jail. She lives with her grandparents, but they don’t go to church. I told her how precious she is in God’s sight. Her friend had God handed to her, whereas Zionna had to run to him on her own. That meant a lot to her. I have a feeling that the Lord has big plans for Zianna. Please keep her in your prayers.

We’ve been praying together for revival on this site since May of 2023. We've asked God to raise up student leaders to pray for their school, and recently, we’ve been praying specifically for one of those students, a girl named Zionna. We met her for the first time four years ago. Zionna lives with her grandma and grandpa down the street from me—it's the same mobile home her great grandmother lived in. Their family has been there 50 years or more. My husband and I had given Zionna’s grandparents each a Bible. They told us that their granddaughter lived with them. She was only 11 at the time. When we came back, we met her and gave her a Bible, too. We encouraged her to read it and underline passages as she read. I don’t recall her saying a single word on that visit. Four years would pass before we would meet again. Stay tuned for more about Zionna tomorrow.

Prayer warriors have been prayed over 2,400 prayers for revival on this site. We are asking God to bring revival to colleges and universities across the land. Recently, we've focused on Harvard University. It is considered by many to be the most prestigious university in the country. By 1636, approximately 17,000 Puritans had migrated to New England, so Harvard was founded to train clergy. It was called a "church in the wilderness". Harvard's mission statement, given in 1642, was, “Everyone shall consider as the main end of his life and studies, to know God and Jesus Christ, which is eternal life." Harvard has fallen a long way from its Christian roots. In the beginning, it was a place where the Bible was at the core of its curriculum as God's truth was openly taught. In the beginning, waves of prayer swept across the campus. Today, Harvard is proudly secular, teaching humanist doctrines that encourage students to abandon their faith. Students and professors kneeling in prayer to an Almighty God have been replaced with students raising their fists and voices in protests. We are asking God to remember Harvard's rich past—remember the prayer warriors that at one time knelt on that campus in prayer, and hear our prayers for revival as well. A number of prayer warriors have been faithfully praying on this site for revival. Several colleges have already experienced revival, and more are sure to follow. The list of prayer warriors changes from day to day as God places this prayer request on the hearts of different people. The Lord has added prayer warriors to our ranks along the way. Not a single day has passed without prayers for revival. This is truly a "Holy Spirit moment" where we, as believers are calling upon God to alter the course of many lives. Welcome all you new prayer warriors! It's exciting to see you join us. Let us pray in unison, "Come Holy Spirit, and make Jesus known in universities everywhere and across the land. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen."

Every day since early May, prayer warriors have been praying for revival on this site. It's been exciting to watch the faithfulness of those praying. Revivals start with prayer, usually by a handful of commited prayer warriors. Already, there have been several revivals. There's a sense that this is only the beginning. We don't know when or where another revival will happen, but from what we know of God's faithfulness, we can be assured that it will.

Prayer Answered!  Update by Mary S. at 2:43 pm on Thu 9/28/2023  We are no longer homeless or in a shelter. God is good! We moved into our own apartment today. Praise the Lord! We still don't have furniture yet, but it will come when it's time. I still have two surgeries lined up so we could still use your prayers for everything to go well and for recovery. Thank you so much for your prayers that you've already submitted for us. God hears and God is good. He will provide. Thank you for being a part of it. God bless you all.

Thank you all for praying for others on the Prayer Bank. When you pray for someone, you become part of their life story, connected by the invisible thread of your prayers. God is faithful. He is answering. Dive in with all your heart as you pray for the needs of others AND for revival. God is good!

Yesterday, we mentioned that a revival of historic proportions came to North China through the prayers of a single woman missionary, Marie Monsen—just ONE prayer warrior! Every single day since the prayer request for revival was posted here, prayer warriors have faithfully prayed. 2 Chronicles 16:9 says, "For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him." Just picture God's eyes searching the earth for those who are faithful. May He see the faithful prayer warriors on the Prayer Bank praying. May he show Himself strong as He answers our prayer for revival. Thank you for praying for revival. May the Lord's blessings cover you as you pray. In Jesus' name, Amen.

There have been many revivals around the world. In 1932, revival came to North China through the prayers of a single woman missionary, Marie Monsen. It's reported that as God’s Word freely spread, more people were saved in North China (one missionary estimated 3,000 in his town alone)  than in any other year. Truly, the faithful prayers of even one prayer warrior can bear much fruit.

When revival sweeps the land, the sheer number of those impacted is often impressive. How revival changes individuals is something that can't be measured. A student at Asbury College, who participated in the recent revival there, described it by saying that the peace that was in the room was unexplainable. He said that he, along with his buddies, ran to different classrooms and barged in saying, “Revival is happening!” Truly, when revival comes, the excitement can't be contained. Lives are forever changed. The full impact of those changed lives often isn't apparent until years later. More missionaries, more church plants, and greater care for orphans and those in need often are results. The impact is great and can reverberate for years. And so, thank you for praying for revival. May our prayers help usher in the next great outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

Praying for revival has been exciting because of the faithfulness of those who are praying. A core group of believers who pray has been a common thread for most revivals. So it is with anticipation the we have come together and prayed for a great movement of God. We've been praying specifically for universities. Every day this week, we've prayed for three different schools from our original list. Revive us, oh Lord! Breathe a new wind of the Holy Spirit into our hearts and lives. Give us fresh bread, new testimonies to Your faithfulness. Take us back to our first love and keep us from letting our love of You becoming lukewarm. Release in us the fullest expressions of praise that You might inhabit us. Bring us up to higher places in praise of all You have done and worship of who You are. This day, Lord, help us to forget about ourselves and concentrate on You in all humility. You will keep us in perfect peace as our minds are stayed on Thee. Help us know You and trust You more each day. We are Yours, a "royal priesthood." We pray fresh anointing on all of us as we minister to each other.  We dedicate ourselves to Your will in our lives.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (John 14:27) Sometimes we face situations that are difficult.  The Lord warned us in His Word that in the world we will have trouble, but He also reminds us of His peace that surpasses all understanding. What a great assurance to know that our Lord, the Prince of Peace, will be guarding our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.  We can rest in this as we remember to not let our hearts be troubled and not be afraid.  We are not alone; the Prince of Peace is with us every day of our lives.  Lord, thank you for your precious peace that you left us.  Thank you for being with us every day of our lives. Thank you for guarding our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Help us not to let our hearts be troubled and help us not to be afraid. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

And I will put my spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statues, and you shall heed My ordinance and do them…. Lord Make Me Over……Make Me Over Again……(1 Corinthians 13:11-12)  When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me….. Lord I'm tired….Make me over again….Everyday is the same thing….And I'm ready for change, Lord….Please, Lord, make me over again…..Sometimes the clouds are low, and I can hardly see the road I ask a question, Lord….Lord, why so much pain? ....(Ephesians 6:12) For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms…..Father, I know I’ve let you down…Time and time again…Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God's…….Wash me and make me whole….Please, Lord, make me over again…..(John 10:10)  The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I/Jesus come that you may have and enjoy life, and have it abundantly…..The Lord Has been so good to me….More than I’ve been to myself…..(John 3:16) For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life….He dried all of my tears away….Turned my midnights into day….So I'll just say thank you Lord…….(Isaiah 41:10)  So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Thank You Lord, not only for your Mercy and Grace...but for your everlasting and forgiving Love!!!!

There are times when we can jump into a trusting relationship based on the fruit of a person's life.  Jesus' fruit remains to this day, 2000 years after he died on the cross for our sins.  His love is constant.  He does not lie. We can jump in and trust Him.  (Afterall, I've never met another man that died for me!) Here's what the Word says about the Lord:  (Psalm 34:17-19)  The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.  The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.  The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all...

Let us pray:  Lord help us trust You more.  Help us know You and Who You are!  Help us know that what You say You will do. Help us rest in this unfailing love You have for us. Heal our hearts in the places that our trust for others has been harmed in any way. Thank you for Your faithful promises to us. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

“Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good” (Psalm 107:1)

What a great reminder, to give thanks to our Heavenly Father, for He is good.  He has been so good to us. He redeemed us,  He paid such a high price for our salvation. We need to thank Him for His presence in our lives for we are never alone;  He is always with us.  He goes before us, and He puts His hand of blessing upon our lives.  Lord, thank you for being so good to us! Thank you for loving us so much that you gave your son, Jesus, to die for us. Thank you for your presence in our lives.   Thank you for your peace that surpasses all understanding. Thank you for being our helper in our time of need.  Bless the Lord, o my soul, and forget not all his benefits.  In Jesus name we pray.  Amen

Lord, You said, "what things we bind on earth are bound in heaven and what things we loose on earth are loosed in heaven." (Matthew 18:18)And You said we would do even greater things than You did in Your time of ministry. We bind any spirits of anxiety, disease, poverty, and any other evil that has come against us, our marriages or our families. And we now declare and decree that all the blessings You have for us are on the way to us now in Jesus' name. And the Lord will establish it. We come to Your throne room seeking help in time of need and knowing You would withhold no good thing from us. You have told us in Your Word, Lord, to put You in remembrance of Your promises. For it is nothing with You, whether against one or against many and therefore we go up against whatever comes against us. We send Judah first - praise to You even before we get the good report, right now! We praise You for what you are doing in our lives. It will be for a great testimony and bring attention to You. May it move unbelievers to accept You in their hearts when they see the provision You are sending forth to us - healing, strong marriages, and financial blessings for each of us and our families. We speak peace over all of us in Jesus mighty name! We call it the New Testament. It is the last will and testament of Jesus Christ! It tells us what we have inherited. If someone told me I inherited a million dollars, I would read the will and find out what I inherited - and then go collect on it! Collect your inheritance. And finally Lord, thank you for helping us so that we can say, "I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, And heard my cry. He also brought me out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock , and established my steps. The Bible says, "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you." When we are not moving forward, it is good to stop and evaluate our lives.  This is always important.  Is what we are drawing near to something or someone other than Christ first?  The Bible gives us guidance:  "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all of these things SHALL be added to you."  "These things" being spiritual blessings from God.  God wants us.  He wants our devotion.  He wants us close to Him.

We all know there are times that will be harder than others in life.  Sometimes it feels as if we get up only to get knocked back down again.  Wave after wave of trials seem to knock us down.  When this happens, we all have the need to be picked up and put back on our feet again. ( Even carried at times by our Beloved.)  The Bible says that He has carried our grief and suffering.  He continues to bear them with and for us.  We are the Bride of Christ.  What exactly does this mean?  He not only carries us at times; He also has a covenant with us.  In this covenant, whatever is His is ours, and whatever is ours is His.  Our enemy becomes His enemy.  He is our provider, our defender, our lover, and friend.  He will not lie to us.  And as we are ONE with Him....He shows us His heart.  So as Jesus carries you and shows you how you are his bride, may all of your troubles melt in the love He has for you!

Let us pray:  Lord, in the times that You have carried us, we have felt Your love.  Lord we thank you for being faithful to us even when we do not always acknowledge it to You.  You are working on our behalf and honoring Your covenant with us to fight our enemies and defend us against the evil one. You are constant and true.  We ask you to strengthen us and help us have the wisdom that You promised in Proverbs that would lead us down the right paths.  Thank you for giving us this wisdom.  We are Your bride.  May we be spotless and pure in our hearts.  In Jesus' name.  Amen.

Facing extreme situations can be gut wrenching, and fear can make our faith shaky.  Certainly, for a Christian, this is when our faith is tested.  It is easy to say “have faith” when you're outside of a situation, but it is different when you are the one facing a difficult problem.  From a human perspective, our emotions rise up,  making our faith in God blurry.  But God loves you.  You are HIS child.  Take comfort in our Lord's  assurance. "For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." Talk to the Lord, release all your worry to Him. He said  in His word in Isaiah 26:3, “You will  keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in  you.” Keep your mind on Jesus, and on His word, AND accept His promises and  tell Him. “LORD, I accept your peace that surpasses all understanding. I  thank you for your peace, and I thank you for your healing, in Jesus name I  pray.”  The enemy wants you to  worry.  He targets the mind because He  knows we use our mind to focus on Jesus and on His Word. Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall  we go? You have the words of eternal life,” John 6:68 Who do we go to when we have troubles, when we are afraid, when we feel sad, when we are hurting? "O LORD, you have examined my heart and know everything about me." Psalm 139:1  The Lord knows us so well.  He knows everything about us. He knows when we sit and when we stand up. He knows our  thoughts, He knows the words we are going to say before we speak them.  He knit us in our mothers’ wombs.  He created us. His workmanship is marvelous!   AND,  even though He knows everything about us including our faults, He  loves us so much that He gave His only Son to die for us on the cross.  He continues to be with us day by day, answering our prayers, supplying our every need, giving us peace, and giving us joy.  We are His most precious creation.  Our God is wonderful! The Word tells us in ROMANS 6: 5-7 “For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. For one who has died has been set free from sin.” 

The following verses also tell us about being released from sin’s bondage:

John 3:5-6 “Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” 

1 John 1:9  “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 

So… when we come to God in humility, in true sorrow for past sins, have invited Jesus into our hearts, and have asked Him to take over our lives; we are born again. Romans 10:9 says, “if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believein your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”  2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”  In the medical world there is a thing called an order for “do not resuscitate.” An order called DNR. If resuscitation is going to be tried, you’ll hear on the overhead speakers throughout the hospital…code blue, in room number xxx.  Spiritually speaking … we have a DNR order. Do not resuscitate the old person. Do not fall back into the old sins. If you do, as we all do when we sin, go back to 1st John 1:9 and continue your walk with God.

May we all be found with our lamps lit, standing watch on the wall, seeing who needs a prayer and a kind word here in the family of God.  I keep hearing in my spirit that we are truly a "chosen generation." 1 Peter 2:9 "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light."  We each are here for a task more important than we realize. It is humbling to know that we could have been born at any time. But instead, we are here for such a time as this.  It is our time to shine! Speak Christ to anyone, everyone, and at every opportunity.  I pray wisdom and courage, and a purposeful walk for each of you along with good health in mind, body, and spirit. Are you hurting today?  Whatever situation you are in - bring it all to the One who has already saved us - bring all your hurts, financial problems, fears, worries, and anxiety.  Let us pray:  Father, thank you for everything that you've done for us.  Thank you for sending your One and only Son. As Christians, sometimes we need to understand or refresh our hearts of where we came from in order to move forward with clarity in our Faith.  Our relationship with God is a way of life that became possible because of the Eternal Sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ when he bore our sins on the cross.  His love for us was so great that as sinners, we were bought for a price - Jesus' life and Blood.   He chose you and I to be His because of His Love for us.   It is a Grace beyond measure - undeserving yet freely given by the One who values each one of us.  He asks us to love Him above all things, accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and be born again.  "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.  Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God." “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 Why do we fear? Why do we worry? The Lord tells us in His Word not to fear. Right after He tells us not to fear, He reminds us that He is with us. He tells us do not be dismayed and not to be discouraged. Then He gives us another reminder, “I am your God.” He is our God! What a reminder. He is ours! The maker of heaven and earth is ours! The all powerful God is ours! We belong to Him. Then He tells us, He will strengthen us, and help us. He will uphold us with His righteous hand. When faced with problems and challenges, we sometimes want to solve them, find a solution or hold on to something or someone to help make them "go away".   We are designed by God and are not  smarter than Him.  Let's face it - WE NEED GOD. If we humbly take those same issues  to God in prayer and by Faith, asking other brothers and sisters to help pray for our concerns (like we do here at the National Prayer Bank), we have access to God's peace.  The God we serve will deliver all His Promises,  no matter the size and magnitude of our problems.  We come out on the other side of the tunnel praising and thanking God.  For He said, "Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."  Matthew 11:28-30  Lord God, Please help us not to get side tracked by our own intellect.  Help us to be humble in spirit and come to You seeking Your help, Lord.  Like a child, we cannot and we will not be able to walk on our own without Your divine help.  Please Lord, bless us, be with us every minute of every day.  Help us to understand that without you, we are NOTHING and with you, EVERYTHING is possible.  This we pray in Jesus' Mighty Name.  AMEN.  CLICK HERE to memorize Matthew 11:28-30

Jesus tells us in Matthew 28:20, "And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” What a comfort that the Lord Himself reminds us that we are not alone. In the midst of whatever it is we are going through, we can trust the Lord.  Always keep trusting Him. In the Bible, Proverbs 3:5 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding."  This gives us peace no matter what is going on.  May you walk in peace, in Jesus' name. Father, we pray that you would be close to us and allow your presence to be felt in an awesome way. Pour your healing into the situations we face.  Father, you know what is going on, and we often don't, so we are not always sure how to pray except to ask you to be at work. We bind up Satan and command him to be gone. We loose your Holy Spirit to be alive in all situations and your angels to hedge us in on all sides for protection. Thank you, Father!  We praise you that we can come to you in our hour of need and seek help and healing. In the precious name of Jesus and through the mighty power of his blood, we pray. The final twenty or so hours of Jesus’ life on this earth were horrible way beyond description. He suffered not only the nails driven through His wrists, (palms of hands would not hold the weight of a man) the thorns, the flogging, the spit on his face, the removal of His garments, the pain in every part of His body; but He was bearing all the sins any of us would or did commit. We can’t even wrap our mind around it! There is an old saying: “He paid a debt He did not owe, because we owed a debt we could never pay.” That was Friday! But Sunday was coming.

Where was He in the hours between three P.M. “Good Friday” when He was heard to say “Father, into Your hands I commend my spirit” and Easter Sunday morning? We read in 1 Peter 3:19 -20, “He went and proclaimed to the spirits in prison, because they formerly did not obey, when God's patience waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through water.” One Bible Commentary states, “While Jesus’ body was dead, His living divine spirit actually went to the abode of demons and announced His triumph over sin, Satan, death and hell.” It is written in John 15:13, "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.”

And the first Easter Sunday came as Jesus prophesied and was recorded in the gospel of Mark 9:31: For He taught His disciples and said to them, "The Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill Him. And after He is killed, He will rise the third day." It was Mary Magdalene who went to see the tomb the morning of the first day of the week bringing spices used for burials and saw that the huge stone that had covered the entrance to the tomb was rolled aside. And then she saw Jesus’ burial cloths on the floor but the body of the Lord Jesus was gone. Suddenly two men dressed in shining garments (angels) appeared asking “why do you seek the living among the dead?” And saying, “He is not here, He is risen from the dead!” Subsequently, it was reported that Jesus was seen by over 500 people before He ascended into Heaven. He IS risen!

Does it seem like you have been stuck in a long Friday? Don’t give up. Your Sunday is coming, especially if you have accepted the blood of  Jesus as payment for your sins and have invited Him into your life. To memorize  John 15:13 click here

Did you know that under Old Testament law,  the Jews keep seven feasts every year? (Leviticus 23)  The seven feasts of Israel are: Passover,  Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Pentecost, Trumpets, Atonement, and  Tabernacles. During what we know as Holy Week, the first  three of the seven feasts of Israel were prophetically fulfilled by  Jesus.

FEAST OF PASSOVER: occurs  the first full moon after the almond trees blossom i.e. springtime. To the Jew  it means remembering their deliverance from Egypt. (EXODUS 12:verse 3)  “each family must choose a  lamb or a young goat for a sacrifice, one animal for each household.” To the Christian this represents Jesus  delivering us from sin. John 1:29  (John the Baptist) “saw Jesus  coming toward him, and said, Behold, the  Lamb of God, who takes  away the sin of  the world!”

FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD:  For the Jewish people this feast starts the next night.  Leviticus 23:6 “And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast  of Unleavened Bread to the Lord; for seven days you shall  eat unleavened bread. Leaven (substance that causes bread to rise)  in the Bible is a symbol of sin. So the seven days of eating no bread with leaven  in it is a symbol of a holy walk with God. 1 Corinthians 5:7 tells us “Cleanse out the old leaven that you may be a new lump, as you  really are unleavened. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been  sacrificed.”

FEAST OF FIRST FRUITS: is  celebrated by Jewish people on the Sunday after the second feast.  In Leviticus 23:10 it is written, “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When  you come into the land that I give you and reap its harvest, you shall bring the  sheaf of the  first fruits of your harvest to the priest, and he shall wave  the sheaf before the Lord, so that you may be  accepted. On the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.”   We see the fulfillment of this feast explained in 1 Corinthians  15:23, “But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then at  his coming those  who belong to Christ.”  One other New Testament scripture applies  here: Romans 8:29 “For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be  conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn  among many brothers.”

This is a clear  picture of how the New Testament is in the Old, concealed and the Old Testament  is in the New, revealed.  In other words it’s just like Jesus said in  MATTHEW 5:17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the  Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill  them.”

Lord, give us faith in You, Father.  Wrap your arms around us so that we will not have any fears or anxiety and choose to trust You, Lord.  Take care of us, Lord Jesus, cover us with your protection, your healing, and your love; shield us from the arrows of the enemy. The “prayer of agreement” is when we agree with another person or persons in praying for a specific thing, whether it’s about healing, relationships, financial or material needs, etc. We find Jesus teaching this in the gospel of Matthew 18:18-20, “Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.  Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.   For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”   It is good when we say an “agreement” prayer if all parties doing the praying have a similar level of faith. Father God, we pray for family and friends that they may be born again in Jesus, with all that that means available to them and - them available unto the Lord.  John 12:32 says, "And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself." Freely speak of your faith to others. You’re not trying to sell anything, just sharing what you have seen God do in your life.  What He has done for you, He will do for others. We are not shoving our dear Jesus into people's lives, but we are opening a door. If we cause a person to think about God for one minute, that is something worthwhile. We forgive others, not because they deserve it, but because God tells us that if we do not forgive, then he cannot forgive us either. So in a way, forgiveness is rather a selfish thing. We do it for ourselves. We do it so we can go on living and not have to carry the wrongs that others have done to us. We do it because we know that God will take care of those people for what they have done in His time and in his own way, so we don't have to worry about it. Reading the Bible, there are many places Jesus tells us to forgive.  Put it at the foot of the cross and walk away free from it all. Psalm 18:6 says, “In my distress I called upon the LORD; to my God I cried for help.  From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears.” We plead the Blood of Jesus over our lives, and we ask God to protect and deliver us out of harm’s way.  We believe in the wonderful power and healing of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. 1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Forgiveness is a daily experience. Through God, we were changed - we became a new creation in Christ the day we were born again.  According to 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." Romans 10:9-10 says, “Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved, for with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.” The “new birth” is a real experience necessary to change us from sinner to saint. Saint just means holy. When Jesus is invited into a person’s heart, that person becomes holy. But we are a spirit, we have a soul, and we live in a body. The body wants to do as it pleases and it gets dirty every day, – take a bath!  A daily talk with God about sins committed each day renews us.  When we confess our sins, we a get renewed by our heavenly Father. Whether the employment world is looking for people or if they are not; makes no difference. "They" i.e. the world system is never our source. That's true not only for employment or financial provision, but also for the healing of our body, our mind, and our relationships. Every need!  God is our source and He has made a way to meet ALL our needs - since before there were clocks!  From eternity past, God knew what would happen when He created humans and what He would do to reset the buttons on His promises to us - even if we failed Him, which we do.  I speak from an unfailing source, God's Word in the Bible.  (Proverbs 3:5) "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding."  (Isaiah 26:3) "You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he TRUSTS in You."  (Philippians 4:19) "And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."  May you, too, have a testimony about how God supplied your need. When times are hard, it is difficult not to set our gaze on the problems before us. They become like giants. There is a story in the Bible about some Israeli spies in the desert that Moses sent out to see what Israel would be facing. (Numbers 13 and 14) Funny thing is, the spies came back with two different perspectives. One group (the majority) saw the giants in the land and concluded that it was too difficult. They forgot about God being with them and just who they belonged to and what He said He would do for them. The other group (only two - Joshua and Caleb) saw what God could do right there in the enemy's camp. They saw the potential. They could see that God was much bigger than those "giants" and that He would do what He promised. They did not give into fear or the temptation to retreat in the difficult time. They rose in courage and hope in their God. They knew that they would rather depend on Him to deliver them than stay where they were in defeat. This does not mean they were not afraid. They just decided to put their trust in Him because HE was their only steady, faithful, trustworthy, powerful hope.  Let's pray:  Lord, help us be like Joshua and Caleb. Help us see the potentially powerful things You can do in our circumstances. Help us to memorize Your Word and hide it in our hearts. Help us to get to know You through spending time in Your presence and in finding out who You are in Your Word so that when things look too hard we remember what You are like. We love You, Lord. We love the fact that You are ALWAYS a place we can set our gaze and not be disappointed. We pray in the name of Jesus. (Matthew 18:19) “Again I say to   you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done   for them by my Father in heaven.”

Side trips into crisis and victory are the places where we see God work in our lives. If all was sunshine and sweet music we would not see God at work healing, providing, improving our relationships. That’s different than just seeing His works, such as sunrises, sunsets, flowers, colors and so on. Each of us are our Abba (Papa) God’s darling child, highly prized and greatly favored! Those side trips are what moves us along in faith. Inch, sometimes by painful inch, we go further and further along the path to our eternal home. In that process we grow spiritually. We become aware of what God did in each situation, and we learn to trust Him more and more. We grow in our ability to discern and to believe. Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 3:18 b, “And we all are being transformed into the same (His) image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.” Each crisis we experience is an opportunity to see Him work in our life. But more than that, we may take many with us to heaven when we add our own prayers to the prayers of other people. In other words, praying for each other and always, in the name of Jesus as we are taught in John 14:14, “If you ask anything in my name, I will do it.” Of course, we must be mindful that God’s will comes first. Remember? “Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” A line from the Lord’s Prayer which is found in Matthew 6:10 “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” And again in 1 John 5:14, “And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.” Hopefully, in our Christian walk we have learned life is not all about “me”. And so we pray for each other. We combine what we have learned from the scriptures: praying in Jesus’ name, praying according to God’s will, and two or more of us agreeing on earth about anything – it will be done for us by Abba, our Papa God who is in heaven – listening and blessing. God will not forget you! Our prayers go up before our Abba, "Papa" God, who cares much more than we can think or imagine. Let us meditate on what Paul said in Philippians 4:11-12 (NKJV),  "Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content. I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need."  1 Corinthians 2:9 tells us, “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”  Where there is life, there is hope - whether it is in the body or out. Born again Christians who cherish Jesus Christ in their hearts may cease their concerns about this world for Christ is our all in all, El Shaddai, the all sufficient one. He is sufficient for you and for all of us. Grace and peace to you all in Jesus' name, amen! Where do we begin to learn how to obey?  The only answer is: the Bible.  The Bible is for reproof, correction, and teaching. (2 Timothy 3:16) "How can a young man keep his way pure?  By taking heed to the Word of God." (Psalms 119:9)  The scriptures are a guideline for believers to follow like a map set to a treasure.  The treasure we find in obedience is more than we can comprehend here on the earth.  In fact, the Bible says that we can't fathom what Jesus has waiting for those who love Him. (1 Corinthians 2:9) Every time we obey Him, we are showing our love for Him. To obey Him is to seek Him and His will.  The Bible says that He is a rewarder of those who earnestly (wholeheartedly) seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6)

Let us pray:  Father, You give reward to men.  Scripture tells us that You have favor on those who love You. Our obedience proves our love for You.  We care about what You want.  You want to bless people that are obedient to You. Lord help us be serious about our obedience to You.  In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. (1 Kings 8:2-23) (Matthew 7:21)

Sometimes we have our own ideas about something. We think we know what we want, but we forget to ask God what He wants. Does this mean that we have not submitted to God and made Him ruler over us? We are human. We want what we want. Our will is strong. Our God has a will for our lives, too. He sees the details of our lives, and He designed a perfect plan. The Bible says, "I know the plans I have for you, plans for well being and not for trouble, to give you a future and a hope." (Jer.29:11) He wants us to submit to Him and obey His plans by putting down our will for His will.

Let us pray: Help us to say," Not our will but Yours," Oh Lord! May our will bend joyfully and with love because we trust You. We love You because You first loved us. Help us to think about your sacrifice.  We will lay down our will and let it be crucified. Help us have the same desires that You have for our lives. We know from Your Word that You have great plans for us! In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen. 1 Peter 4:1-2

If you are a child of God, then you are beautiful.  As Christians, our beauty radiates from within, it is God's Word feeding our soul. It also emanates from the heart.  The aura of a true Christian is God's way of showing to the world HIS creation - you are His creation. The Cross and the sacrifice that Jesus Christ suffered to save us is a reminder for us to be positive.  Any feelings of negativity, fear, or anxiety are NOT from God."...Bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ." (2 Corinthians 10:5b) "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." (John 8:36) Claim God's promises for Health & Beauty.  Skin: "Thou has clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews. Thou hast granted me life and favor and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit." (Job 10:11-12)  Health: "Behold I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth. (Jeremiah 33:6) Self Confidence: "You will keep in perfect peace, those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you." (Isaiah 26:3)  Strength in Faith: "But what does it say? The word is near you, it is in your Mouth and in your Heart, that is the message concerning faith that we proclaim. If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.   For it is in your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is in your mouth that you profess your faith & are saved." (Romans 10:8-10) Peace, Hope & Love: "Therefore since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us." (Romans 5:1-5)  Lord, please help each of us to comprehend how much we are loved by you. Bless us with strength of character, encourage us to seek you more, Father, so that we can be give a powerful testimony of Faith. Heal whatever needs to be healed in each of us, Father. This we pray in Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen.

Reading the word of God helps build our faith. It says in Romans 10:17, "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ." By reading the Word of God and seeing the great things Jesus did for us, our faith increases.  Remind God that he says in Jeremiah 29:13 "And you will seek Me and find Me when you search me with all your heart." Tell him, "Lord, I am seeking You, help me make your promises mine so my faith will increase, and I can believe in You more and more every day." Lord, help us grow, and help us read your Word and make every promise of your Word ours. Lord, we have a great desire to grow and to have more faith.  Help us.  May your angels always camp around us, and may you bless us. Lord, give us all the desires of our heart.  Lord, use us to serve you, bless us abundantly, and may your perfect will be done in our lives. In Jesus' name we pray.

There are times when we can jump into a trusting relationship based on the fruit of a person's life.  Jesus' fruit remains to this day, 2000 years after he died on the cross for our sins.  His love is constant.  He does not lie. We can jump in and trust Him.  (Afterall, I've never met another man that died for me!) Here's what the Word says about the Lord:  (Psalm 34:17-19)  The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.  The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.  The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all...

Let us pray:  Lord help us trust You more.  Help us know You and Who You are!  Help us know that what You say You will do. Help us rest in this unfailing love You have for us. Heal our hearts in the places that our trust for others has been harmed in any way. Thank you for Your faithful promises to us. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

We may feel we have a strong faith, but it takes a deep soul searching, a real relationship with the Lord, and the Holy Spirit to find the depth of our faith.  When faced with a HUGE trial, the depth of our faith can sometimes be on trial as well. Our response to trials relates to the strength of our faith in the Lord.  When we pray over big or small issues in our lives, God's answer equates to our faith. The Bible says this aptly: "...Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1) It is not enough that we “know” how to pray or that we can quote the Holy Bible well, but the very core of our prayers lies in the strength of our faith - either a faith that can move mountains or faith that easily crumbles when faced with adversity. In the Book of Matthew, the disciples could not drive away the demon that possessed the little boy. So the father approached Jesus and begged for healing and Jesus obliged. He drove away the demon and the child was completely healed. When the disciples asked Jesus why they failed in healing the boy, Jesus replied, "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain "move" from here to there & it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." (Matthew 17:20-21)  One preacher coined this aptly when he said, "God responds NOT to what we're praying for, but He answers us through our faith." I am sharing this with you, praying it will strengthen you as you move your “mountains.” 

Lord Jesus, we humbly come to you today asking for your blessings in many areas of our lives - most importantly, please bless us with an UNWAVERING FAITH. Help us to be strong in matters of our faith. Help us to live by faith and not in fear when trials come our way.  Examine our hearts for any impurity and cleanse us. Help us to be obedient to You, Father. This we pray in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

Was David  a man of contradiction? In one Psalm he says, "How long, O LORD? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me?"  (Psalm 13:1)  Yet in another he says, "And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You."  (Psalm 9:10) No, David was not a man of contradiction; rather he was both flesh and spirit.  His flesh doubted God's presence and salvation.  His spirit, on the other hand, remembered WHO God is and how trustworthy and faithful HE really is to his children.  We have our choice to live by the spirit or the flesh every day and in every circumstance. "I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh." (Galatians 5:16)

It is the Lord's day! How good it is to walk in the blessings with God!  We walk in heavenly places no matter what is going on around us in this world. We walk by faith and not by circumstances or feelings! He is concerned about all of His sheep!   Let us make our prayer today one of thanksgiving! God withholds no good thing from us. Great goodness has come to us when we walk through - THROUGH - the threefold curse of the law: poverty, sickness, and death!  I walked through those times, and I learned spiritual lessons. I saw God work in my life, and He gave me hinds feet in high places! All difficulties lie under our feet! He causes us to triumph!

(Isaiah 1:19) "IF - you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land."

Some of the promises of God are contingent upon obedience to His Word. That does NOT mean God operates in conditional love as some people do when their attitude is, "I'll love you if!" God's LOVE is unconditional, but to walk in His BLESSINGS, staying under His umbrella of protection, provision, and promises requires obedience to His instructions to us in His Word, our Bible. Ask the Holy Spirit (as I often do) if there something you need to correct in your walk with God. The Lord tells us in  (John 8:32), "And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free." Free to receive the protection, provision, and promises of God. This is one way to rule out any obstacle standing between you and God's blessings. I pray you will stay in the center of God's plan for your lives. Amen!

"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to those who are being saved it is the power of God."  1 Corinthians 1:18  Jesus is always the Savior!  He is the one who saves us from our troubles.  He is the One who quiets our storms.  He is our Savior, and He is good at what He does.  Rest easy dear sheep.  You're being saved by His power!

Let us pray:  Lord, help us trust You in the areas that we do not at this point. Thank you for being our Savior and for continually saving us.  Thank you for being faithful and true.  Break us through the storms in our lives and help us rest and fix our eyes on You.  In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Put the Lord first in your life. Pray and seek his Word and be the best you can be.  Lord show me how to be that. Help me get close to You, help me to Put You First in my life, show me how to pray and read your word, and go to church regularly." Put all your life in the hands of the Lord. In return He will give you peace and He will guide You. There is nothing impossible for the Lord.

Father, I come to you right now asking You to guide us every step of the way. I pray that You will help each of us in our relationships, but most of all, Lord, I pray that we will get closer to You. Lord, You are Our Healer, even in our relationships, Lord You are our guide. That is why You gave us your Word, so we can live by it. We pray for emotional healing and that You will heal our relationships. May we search You with all our hearts so you can give us peace and guidance, so that we will fall in love again. Lord, we pray all this in the name of your son Jesus. Amen

And Jesus prayed, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do."  Luke 23:34

There is usually a reason people do what they do, even if they don't know themselves why they are doing it. If we understand this, it is easier to forgive. When we look beyond what is done to discover the reason why it was done, it is easier to be merciful.  We ourselves have been forgiven.  In fact, the Bible says of God that He is full of mercy, quick to forgive, and slow to anger.  It goes on to say that whoever gives mercy will also recieve mercy.  May we search our hearts and make sure we forgive as God has forgiven us.

Let us pray:  Lord, so many times we have been offended.  Help us search our hearts and let all of our debtors go.  May we forgive them as You have forgiven us. Please, help us by rooting out all bitterness and fill us with the Holy Spirit.  Help us take this very seriously to keep satan from getting the advantage over us; for we are not ignorant of his wiles and intentions. We ask that any root of resentment be cut down in our lives so that we may we walk free as Jesus paid for us to be. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Hebrews 12:15

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I have prayed that Jesus would apply and multiply to you all the promises of His last will and testament (our New Testament + those of the Old Testament) that are relevant to your life. THAT'S HUGE! Take the spiritual free fall and trust God and His words. Mat 6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." Ask the Holy Spirit to help you find all the scriptures that are relevant to relationships, marriage, and purity. A Nave's Topical Bible would help you do this. Jehovah-Jireh, The Lord God our Provider, will help you find one if you ask. Actually, Jesus Himself said in Matthew 6:7-8, "And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do.  For they think that they will be heard for their many words.  Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him." Anyway, stay in the Word and be led by the Holy Spirit. Prov 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

Jesus said, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me." (John 14:1)  Dear God, Our Heavenly Father,...we come to you today praying for our relationships. God we know that all things are possible to those who trust, believe, and have faith in you. For Hebrews 11:1 says: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. We know that you are an awesome God and that your will is for us to have Godly relationships.

God is in control...be strong and keep the faith.

We could use a lot of adjectives and superlatives to reach out to you, Lord, when we simply plead to you as your children.  Please bless us with strength physically, mentally and spiritually. We cling to your promise with all our faith, Lord, that you are our comforter and healer and provider, for you are our God. "Then your light shall break forth like the dawn and your healing shall spring up quickly." Isaiah 58:8 This we pray in Jesus Name. Amen.
